LEAD
Lead others to Connect, Grow, and Serve. The fourth step of our discipleship process is to ensure that we are being obedient in leading others to Jesus. Romans 10:13-14 says, “Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. But who can ask Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells him?” It is obvious that we are called to bring others to Jesus Christ. Below is how you can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and it also serves as an outline to share how your friends can have a personal relationship with Him as well. WHAT CHRIST DID FOR US
Jesus Christ provided the only way to be made right with God! Think about the word “LIFE.”
The “L” in LIFE stands for Love.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
The “I” stands for Isolation. Sin isolates us from God.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23
The “F” stands for the way to get past this isolation… Forgiveness.
“Jesus died for all sins once, for everyone… to bring you to God.” 1 Peter 3:18
The “E” stands for Eternal life.
“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
“Yet to all who received Him (Jesus), to those who have believed in His name He gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12
Pray this simple prayer and “Get Life.”
Dear Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite you to come into my heart and live. I want to trust and follow you as Lord and
Savior.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
